    Greetings, blokes.

What follows is the basic info as Chris posted in her minutes:
    --------------------------------------------
    Halloween Party
When: Saturday Nov 1st at 6:02 PM

Where: Stina-Cri's house (back up location is Greencat's house. We'll let you know for sure soon)

Costumes: Of course. Either SW or non-SW, whatever you feel like. There will be prizes for a variety of costumes categories.

What to Bring: a small 'dollar store' item for costume prize (if everyone brings one, everyone will win one), a few dollars for pizza and a snack food.

Pinata -- Sal will make. Alderaan Stina-Cri will bring a green 'death star laser' stick for destroying Alderaan.

This will be the October meeting.

Names for LifeDay Secret Santa will be drawn.

Games: Jango Fett target shoot, Music trivia, Quote trivia.

    Bonfire, if at Tina's.
    ------------------------

This seems pretty comprehensive to me, but if there's something that I neglected to mention or post, or there are questions/concerns on the Party, this is the place to post 'em!

    Voila,
    Yours Truly

    I'll bring chips and dip.

(This will work for me since the following week I'll be bringing the same.)

Easier for us old farts to remember when it's only two types of things to remember...

Okay, I hear the snickers out there...

    Your still snickering...

Hmm, I think i'm going to have a costume that may "disturb" a few people....

Let's just say that it deals with "greenery" and let the guessing game begin.

Broccoli. He's dressing up as Broccoli.

did anyone else see the Powerpuff Girls episode where the evil Broccoli people from outer space invaded and in order to defeat them all the kids had to eat them?? That was disturbing and involved greenery.

Okay, you all got me, i'm going to be a cross between a Giant Yoda with leaves for hair (ala Treebread) and a broccoli lightsaber!

    Sorry not even close folks.

One hint. It's NOT a SW costume, but is from a land far away.

    No, not a Leprechaun....

    Greetings, blokes.

The evidence so far as to Sal's costume:

    1) Costume = land from far away
    (different planet?)

    2) Costume of Greencat = VERY good guess (maybe because she's female?)

    3) Blade of grass = eerily on right track
    (plant-based?)

    4) May "disturb" people...
    (scary character?)

Only thing that comes to my mind that would fit those criteria is Audrey II from "Little Shop of Horrors." (Big killer female plant from another planet.)

Did I hit the target, sal?

    Wonders if he did,
    Yours Truly

    Ok I've got three guesses

    1. Green Lantern
    2. Shrek
    3. The Hulk (Ok, the thought of that scares me.)
