So I was thinking, I arrive in town on Thursday. And after finding a nice Celtic pub for a pint what to do.
So getting into the good ol' Celtic spirit of the spirits being free to roam that one night of the year I visited a site I often visit. And found this.

    http://www.ghrs.org/quebec/murraypark.htm

So if it's not too far out, or creepy. Who's tempted to pay the site a visit?

    A very important question.

When and where do we meet?

    Maybe 22h?

The sad part is that I have to work Friday. :_|

    Murray Park

    It's look nice.

I don't know enough to say how to reach it in public transport. Seems close enough of the Atwater Subway station. About 15-30 min of walk from there.

Maybe it would be simpler to take a car with those interested and get there. It should have it's own parking.

That Park is 10 minutes away form my house, its ilegal to be in a park anywhere after 11pm.

11 pm, do they even efnorce that law? If so, well what about the guys there at 2 am? And underaged drinkers seeking places to party?

*shrugs* Well I'm visiting town so any plan I make is gonna be vague. So if one of you wants to forge the plans into something strong sharp pointy, and most importantly SHINY, fine by me.

In some places they really do enforce that law!

*remembers one night in Laval where the cops came by barely 20 minutes after 11pm and drove like hell through the park and chased me and my friends out... creepy*

    So what time? 9:00,10:00...?

I wouldn't go to Murray Hill park after dark because its big enough that you could be attacked and not be heared. Aand also you have Westmount security who will on alert because its halloween so yes its kinda not a great idea. There are a lot other cool places in Montreal that are a lot more exciting then Westmount.

As long as you don't go in alone, like in some horror movies.

So, 9PM at Côte St-antoine and Murray intersection?

Sounds good thus far. Now if only I knew where that was. *checks pockets for map* Well I'll go that way until I see one of those street signs.

Cote St-Antoine can be taken on Sherbrooke Ouest, west of the station Atwater.

Sherbrooke is north of the station, about 1 block.

The metro station should have a good map.

I'll be there with a sign saying 'Bait'.

Somebody else has a cell phone in case we get lost or attacked?

It's a well lit park with lot of trees.

    I liked it.

If you want scary dark park, there's one station Henry-Bourassa. You don't have to walk long before you get in the shadows of trees. It's eerie. So close, yet so far.

    So, what happened Ducker?

Yes, Duker, we were waiting for you with a baseball bat, but you didn't show up. So sad.
Admit it, you lushed too much and you passed out on the sidewalk!

Anyway, it was a beautiful place with a nice view. Probably better during the day though.
