London, ON Haloween

This year halloween is on a Saturday. This is a good oportunity for us to do something. Lets see if we can come up with some ideas.

I have a few suggestions.
Go some where as a group.
Have a party or dance of our own.
Set up our displays out side at the garrison and hand out candy.

Anyone else have a suggestion or anything they'd like to do.

 

Is Grey Starr doing anything this year?

 

He stopped doing star wars for halloween. Last year was SG-1.

 

I can host something this year, if people don't have a problem coming down to Windsor.

 

I was thinking we could do a preset-up of the at-st on the trailer so that we know what's going on for the santa claus parade. Doing this down at the garrison is a good place because we don't have to do so much work to set it up and test it out.

 

I'd be in for that. Garrison is a good open place to do it. We'll have to throw up some caution tape to keep kids from wandering around the parking lot.

It will also introduce their parents to the garrison.

 

Lets look at a time table.

Kids go out from 5:30 till 8:00

So we should set up for 5:00. This will mean starting around 3:00. That will give us time to eat and rest before getting into costume.

 

The 501st & Rebel Legion are also starting to say they will come out to this.

 

I was planning on going to Dan's, since I've never been there for Hallowe'en, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to go now or not. Either way, I won't be much help setting up, I was in a car accident and hurt my shoulder. (oddly, the car suffered no damage) I guess I'll be a battle damaged Jedi for the costume contest at work. I should see what I can do to get the scar on my cheek to stand out better.
