    Han probably did survive the battle of Star Killer Base. We may find he really is a prisoner of the FIrst Order still alive somewhere.

    Han is dead. Can't really see Harrison returning for VIII. I truly believe the comment from Kathy Kennedy about "all" of the cast returning was either taken out of context or, an effort to preserve the ending of the movie for those who hadn't yet seen it.
