One suggestion that Derisa and I have been chatting about that for a while, that I'd like to pass on to Indy or whoever follows him: perhaps vowels should cost points, like on Wheel of Fortune..say, 10 points? We were also thinking that there should be more benefits for guessing a letter that appears five times in an answer than only once, again like on WoF, but as I said it's just an idea.

For example, say I want to "buy" a vowel because the puzzle is stumping me, and I select "E". Even though "E" appears 3 times in the puzzle, it still only costs me 10 points off my total. If Derisa then comes along and realizes that "S" appears 4 times, she gets 20 points, 5 for each occurance of "S".

 

maybe only getting 5 points for vowels...instead could work.


Or the 1st 2 vowels get you 5 points...then the remaining ones cost points.

 

I'll take that under consideration, and I will start the next game this afternoon, going to be busy this morning...
