Tucson Happy 2nd Anniversary TFF!

OK, I know the "official" date (of the currant) TFF was May 24th 2005 (when Frank, Cat, Jake, et. all first did the opening day gig)

BUT....

....after a few meetings we did our 1st Labor Day "charity event" Katrina.

This was really the first time?.
I talked to Dustin, at a party store on Grant where we met to get stuff for the fund raiser.
Jack made his first introduction,
I first talked to Frankie on the phone (Cat was on the phone with him and she got called away for a second and she handed me the phone. Frankie was really sick and I bet he does not even remember it),
First time I met Jake,
Dustin's first armor experience,
All of our first introduction to the 501st,
Our first time on TV,
First time meeting Dustin's Mom,
My first Imperial arrest (still laugh at me with that big grin, now I get to arrest people),
My first time asking "can I take a picture with you?" (now I'm asked that),
First time I relized how powerfull wearing plastic and fiberflass can be to get (random strangers)the public to perform a selfless act (charity),

Etc.

I can't believe it was ONLY 2 years ago. In that time I've made quite a few dear friends and had experiences I could have never even dreamed of.

good times Dame, and Yes, I do remember...I actually tiried to get into my car and drive down there but threw up just outside my front door... (sorry..if you were eating when you read that)

 

and my first time in armor, I think I was hooked.

 

Actually the group has had about 3 incarnations. This is the third.

That was a good day. Lots of fun, lots of work . . . boy were my buns killing me!
