No trick or treater's so far!
My pumpkins didn't photograph so well this year (street lights were too bright), but this one turned out pretty nice.
Last year I did Hope Solo and the US soccer team:
Year before I did Spike, Angel, Buffy, and Faith:
That's a pumpkin carving!?
i only had two trick or treaters. guess i'll just have to eat this giant bowl of candy.
I hope you've got the right amount of alcohol to wash that down with.
First world problems
And I am happy to report that my Halloween evening went just as planned. Boy am I boring.
my brothers brought in two big bags full of candy
Getting sick is a problem in all worlds.
That was directed at Tom and his giant bowl of candy.
What have I made?
Anyone knocking on my door, will be given directions to a 24/7 supermarket where they can get all the sweets they like.
That is gorgeous.
Oh, and Oiche Shamhna sasta!
you could be like the old lady across the street from me who puts a sign on her gate that simply says "no". i posted about this in an old halloween thread, but apparently not this one.
SuperWatto Fijne Halloween
Thanks but people don't celebrate it here.
Today's also: Reformation Day
The day on which Martin Luther is said to have nailed his 95 theses against the Catholic Church on the church door of Wittenberg.
The Dutch Girl Staying With Us for a Week is very excited about seeing an American style Halloween for the first time. We carved a pumpkin last night to appease her.
The Dutch Girl Staying With Us for the First Eighteen Years of her life is complaining that she wants Halloween tooooo
Then it's decided. She must hitchhike across america next year, being sure to stop at Ken's over Halloween.
I'm sure it will all end just fine.
Today is Milo Yiannopolous Day for me, complete with barricades, fences and homeless-beating cops swarming the campus.
I already did the Halloween thing this past Saturday. Fall festival at my church. I dressed as Willy Wonka and set up a candy buffet. Even had a chocolate fountain that the kids could dip marshmallows and oreo cookies into.
But I didn't have the scary boat ride.
Any kids turn into blueberries?
any fat german boys get sucked off?
I have the same set up. But I do it every Saturday. In alleyways.
