Twas early in the morning before Christmas eve, and all through the Krickhan house...
Not a creature was stirring (not even the frelling cats) not even a droid mouse.

The presents are all wrapped, and ready to go...
And even this nasty rain has turned into snow.

So before the Midwest RSA signs off the boards with family on hand...
    He wishes at all...
Merry Christmas Jedi Knights of Cleveland!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
I heard my dad wigging out, and so was his spouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
Forget visions of sugar plums, I'm thinking about Britney Spears

The children were nestled all snug in their beds
All hoping that this year's lightsaber blades would be red
I had just sat on the message boards, crafting a nice Christmas rap
Then I left the computer for a few hours' nap

I was hungry and wanted onion rings, fried and beer battered
And some new Star Wars shirts, 'cuz most of mine are tattered
I creeped up the staircase, quite far from a flash
Looking under the tree, to see what was added to my stash

The fire was lit and the flames all aglow
    Hoping I'd find a new R2 and C-3PO
When what to my wondering eyes should appear?
But a chubby guy with a beard, jeans and flannel gear

I had seen him before, I knew he was the coolest
Who was responsible for this stuff? Duh, it's George Lucas
With flying tauntauns in front, and George at the reins
They moved faster than Yoda when he lets go of his cane

He said the names of the tauntauns like a rapper on a beatbox
"Come on! We've still got a flight to Endor to visit the Ewoks!"
I was excited, yet sad, like a bartender just made the last call
As they dashed away, dashed away, dashed away all

I saw them with Luke, straight up walking the sky
Climbing and climbing and climbing so high
So up to the house-top the tauntauns they flew
Triumph dropped his cigar and he started to poo

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
Burtt's tauntaun sound effects blend seamless and smooth
As I drew my lightsaber and was turning around
Down the chimney George Lucas came with a bound

He was dressed in blue jeans and flannel, from head down to foot
Silly George didn't use the front door so he was covered in soot
A bunch of Star Wars toys he had flung on his back
My eyes widened as I saw my precious wedged in his sack

His eyes how they twinkled, his dimples how merry!
And he had a slave dancer, a 25 year old Carrie
I could tell he wanted to just drop the stuff and go
I don't blame him, I'd also hate flying through Cleveland's harsh snow

He had good dental hygiene unlike Darth Maul's teeth
He looked for milk and cookies left for him by the wreath
He had a broad face and a little round belly
But man, Han was right... those tauntauns left him all smelly

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf
Complaining that 3 versions of the Classic Trilogy wasn't enough for his wealth
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Soon let me know I had some more versions to dread

Then he got really silent and went to his work
Like Anakin looking at Padmé, his face had a smirk
He seemed quite menacing like a certain Sith
As he shot up the chimney care of a repulsorlift

He sprang to his transport to his team gave a whistle
And they all flew into the sky, yeah, fo shizzle
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight
"HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, HAVE A GREAT TIME, JEDI KNIGHTS!"

My eyes widened as I saw my precious wedged in his sack

That's going to take some surgury.

Well, before Eric tries to "grinch" ANOTHER of my ideas, we opened presents tonight...

*Anakin's starfighter (BTW CLONE WARS Anakin doesn't fit, but "secret ceremony" Anakin does)
    *Hailfire droid
    *"Unifying Force"

And more importantly...the 2004 Britney Spears calander to go along with tickets for Emily and I for her Gund Arena concert!!!! [face_love]

sorry eric, can't roll with that one...

completely unrealistic... not the lightsabers and tauntauns... george had to leave a bill for the toys somewhere. we all know he wouldn't just give em away... ;)

everyone have a happy holiday... whichever one ya shoot for... i like solstice myself, so i'm done for a while. :D

I just want to remind everyone Christmas is a time to think of others. So, while I'm shoveling snow tomorrow trying to get to my niece's for X-mas, I'll be thinking of our secretary, basking in the Florida sun for 2 days before going on a cruise with her aunt.

And I'll be hating her. ;)

I got Pirates, Bruce Almighty, and the Matrix Revisited on DVD. Add that to Spider-Man and Bounty Hunter for PS2, and you can see that I cleaned up. Plus I found out I passed microbiology and endocrinology... what a great Christmas!

I think we need to have the next meeting at Anrev's house! :D

Add "Jago Fett's Target game" to my Christmas presents...cousin David likes to play with "the big guy" (Boba Fett door alarm) so they got me something Fett-related.

The Kamino Saber darts will be flying on Friday!

    My swag:

    - The 365* Stupidest Thhings Ever Said page-a-day calendar (*with an extra day of idiocy for the leap year)

    - Some really, really good peanut butter cookies

-Back the the Future trilogy on DVD (so, like Bret, I'll be checking to see if I got the corrected versions)

-A set of 20 die-cast metal Marvel Comics cars (I really gotta tell my sister I only read one Marvel book)

All that was nice, especially the calendar (I been staying up way too late reading it), but the highlight of this x-mas was seeing Noah hugging the Christmas Winnie the Pooh stuffed toy I got him. Seeing him hugging this thing, rocking back and forth, was just so cute.

Corrected? What do ya mean? Something I learned form the BTS from II is that Chrispen Glover was not in II or III. They recycled photoage.

There's approximately 2 minutes of misformatted footage in Part II and 4 minutes in Part III. What they did was take the pan & scan version and add the black bars above and below the frames in order to get it the same ratio as the widescreen. I watched Part II today and didn't see anything that bad. In fact the only "error" I saw was the one I knew to look for. (Kinda like the stormtrooper hitting his head in Star Wars, you know it's there so you know to look for it.)

Here's more about it. They have information on getting corrected copies, but if Part III doesn't bother me (Part II didn't), I'm not going to go through the hassle of exchanging my copies.

Eowyn in armor action figure (from ROTK)
    2 Legolas T-shirts (1 I had so I traded it with a Aragorn one ;) )
    A Mace Windu Lightsaber :D
A Hockey Night In Canada T-shirt
    A LOTR/ Philosophy(?) book
    Love Actually Soundtrack
The new Leia from ANH and Obi-wan Night Bar figures
    and finally X-men 2 (all I need now is X-men 1.5!!)

Emily, X-Men 1.5 is great. There are sooo many special features. You can sit there for hours watching them... it's like the appendices of the LOTR Extended Editions. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

Well, last night I got a great find using some of the cash I got for the holidays. The Concord Eye-Q Easy Too dual webcam/digital camera for only $30. It has pretty sweet resolution for only being $30. Only drawback is there's no display screen on it so that you can see how the pic came out immediately after you took it. Other than that, it's great. Looks like I'll be taking up even more of Bret's bandwidth now. ;)

Don, I agree one of the greatest things about Christmas is seeing the look of joy on people's faces especially children when they get a gift they are really happy about.
