    Do you think that Luke's instruments went dead again on return to Degobah? If yes did he use the force to give the ship a nice landing? Obviously he didn't crash into the swamp....

    Ya, plus the first time he went in he couldnt see a thing, and the second time it had been a while later and windshield wipers were invented ;)

    It was definitely a clearer day in ROTJ than in ESB. I don't know if Yoda has anything to do with that. He crash landed far from the hut, but where exactly was Yoda at that time.

    I think the first time can be accredited to Luke not know anything about Degobah as well as Luke's "Recklessness".
