LOL boy bands? Are you sure you want to sink that low??? Rage against the machine are a metal-hip-hop band whose only goal is to bring capitalism down to its knees... very stupid and followed only by the weak-minded :) Some of their music is good, but when they are lecturing their fans about the evil of capitalism, that's where the music becomes a tool to control the weak-minded youth of our nations.. no wonder the lead singer left the band a few months ago!

Just because someone is against capitalism it doesn't mean they are for communism. There are many other ideologies in the world.

Entil'Zha --> as for boy bands, I completely agree...there's a reason they're called -boy- bands. Me, personally...I like -men-. ;)

Hehe, no, giving your money to charity :) But be careful, if you give too much, you will be one who'll need it or your own money... uhm.. too deep....

Actually, Entil'zha, there was an AI simulation that simulated adherants to four of the major economic ideologies for a period of 200 years.

Funny enough Altruism came out on top and Capitalism was at the bottom of the heap.

    >Other idiologies? Like what? Socialism?

And a whole host of other ism's that would fill your days and nights should you choose to take courses in Economics or Sociology.

Few issues boil down to a straight black and white. There are a thousand permutations of grey in between.

And for the record, it would appear that RATM's message is simply one of anti-establishment... not 'pro-communist'.

*David reads Cris~'s post and wonders...*

So... is someone going to start up a man-band? Nah, it'd never work.

    >I've alrady taken several courses in Economics, but none in Sociology.

Then you know what I'm talking about. These things aren't black and white.

Add a few more history courses and the picture widens even more....there's an -ism for almost every idea that's ever surfaced.

Poobah --> There are lots of men-bands out there....the Hip, Our Lady Peace, Moist.... *voice trails off into incomprehensible, drool-filled, happy mumbling...*

Of course, you can all do away with those ism's and simply join up with my Cookie Cult. They don't believe in ism's, they just believe in C.

C is for Cookie, and that's good 'nuf for me.

Not quite what I was thinking... but I suppose you're right.

It ought to be good 'nuf for anyone I think. :)
