Edmonton Happy New Year!!

In a word....wow.
What a year,
full of suspense,
joy, pain, fear and loathing,
glee, sadness, and euphoria.
We all must have felt these,
and many other feelings
throughout the past 365 days,
and now we embark on a new journey,
a new slough of thoughts and feelings.

Even a second chance to some.
As I type this,
there are people
making resolutions,
trying to change something
they find wrong
with themselves.

Why can't I be like that?
Why can't I change?
Why can't I become who I want to be?
Why am I holding myself back?

What's the use of holding back?
Why fear change?
Why fear at all?

I hope all of you have a prosporous 2003,
may all that you desire come to you,
and may the force be with you.
