KC lost. But. I'm 13-2 so far on my picks this week! My only two losses were upsets by Oakland and Cincinnati. Houston came through for me. After two weeks of going 7-7...I'M BACK!

 

I am eating a divine 1/2 piece of cheesecake with my coffee, as that is all that was left after the dessert frenzy when I arrived home last nite (THANKS SC, it is fabulous!)

Just feel good that I feel like I'm getting back into the "rythm" of things in the Fire Academy. Although the last three weeks haven't been the best, hopefully next week will be good since it's my State Certfiication Burn and all. In fact I know I'll do good on the State Certfication Burn this Saturday.

 

I WILL be happy when that IT person catches a real virus and I can fix my own computer

We get our puppy on Thursday afternoon! I gotta drive to Denver to pick him up.

On the way to work today Peak 95.1 had the ladies from Animal Instincts on and were going to take one more question. I hopped on my cell, but I was second. They took my question anyway! I told them I had a new puppy coming and wanted to get off to a good start. They gave me this $160 value in-home puppy prep class! How cool is that?!

 

Now that i am 20 and no longer a teen ager i can say "those darn kids" with out ppl looking a me like i am on crack.

 

i was going to go to the plasma, but there be pretty flute music in hear. and it makes me feal all warm and fuzzy in side. like three year old cheese in the oven

The high today was in the seventies!!! I walked to the library and had a good day with my mommy. All my garage sale stuff is priced!!! Laundry is finally done, and I had the best bacon EVER for breakfast. A Good day.

Okay, when I got back from the desert, somehow finance screwed up b/c of the way my orders were (they didn't give me an amended copy for the extended time). So anyway, I've been getting combat/hazard pay and subsistence pay since I got back, but have been pretty careful not to spend it because I knew they'd take it all back (according to what everyone told me, it would be all at once). So I have about 2 grand sitting in my account right now.

I got a letter in the mail today saying that they are taking the money back and unless I reply by the 17th (yeah, unless I reply by 2 days ago), they will just start taking the debt back $94/mo for 12 months... This is SWEET for me, because it's like having cash sitting in my account that I'll pay back over the next year.

Yeah, this sounds bad b/c I'm out about a hundred bucks every month for the next year, but the thing is that I WON'T miss it because up until LAST month, my GI Bill payments for $100/mo were still coming out.

So I've got about $1500 to spend on christmans and to put towards my very own CANON GL-2 3CCD MINI DV CAMERA!!!!

TELL me that's not sweet! I dare ya! THAT IS FRIGGIN SWEET!
