I've just been eating turkey leftovers. And then I don't eat it again until next Thanksgiving, so I never get sick of it. [face_batting]

What a coincidence, I still have sweet potatos left as well!

Not the gravy, that went a long time ago. I could eat that stuff like it was a bowl of soup.

And since I dropped half of the left over turkey on the floor on thanksgiving night, I don't have to worry about the tons of yummy leftovers. *growls*. I did get some though, I'm thinking of losing my mind and cooking up a turkey breast to fullfill the leftovers withdrawl I have.

    :)

Actually, I like Thanksgiving dinner enough to have it twice a year. I had it at a dinner party last summer. I think I'll do that again :p

I used to be forced to eat that meal 3-4 times a year when I was growing up. I do it now once a year and I am happy that way.

Frankly I'm thinking of having Lamb next year...

    =P~

See we have turkey hash. Mix the turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing all up, then shove it in the oven to get nice and crispy *drool*

It's exactly what I said. My mom usually throws in some onion for flavor and an egg to hold it all together, but that's about it....

We just made the sweet potatoes last night, so I guess they don't count as leftovers! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I love the whole turkey dinner experience too, and I have to try that hash recipe - what a great idea! When we lived in DE there was a sandwich shop that made "Bobbies" - basically a turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sub. It sounds odd in a way, but they're really good, and another easy way to eat up leftovers!

Oh that sandwich doesn't sound odd at all, in fact that's what I usually do with my left overs. I butter one slice of bread with gravy and the other with the cranberry sauce and then use turkey and stuffing as the filler. So yum yum.

I'm just not a cranberry sauce person, I prefer homemade cranberry relish. ;)

Hey Minx, I'm not the best at baking, so I need temp and cooking time, rough guess is fine, for this hash.

I'm considering making it soon. :)

I guess I usually go 350 and until it's hot. It's not like you actually need to cook it, it's already cooked. You're just heating it up, and trying to get a crust on top....

Oh ok, so it can be stuck under a broiler as well then I take it. :)

    Ummm...

Now I have to go cook up some turkey and everything else and make some hash....

    =P~

Then I need to go to Coldstone Creamery and get some Pumpkin Pie ice cream with graham cracker pie crust bits and white chocolate chips in it...

Man I am soooooo hungrey now! [face_laugh]

Remind me not to check the boards BEFORE I eat breakfast. Somehow, my yogurt's not seeming that appealing anymore.

BTW, still have some sweet potatoes left.

Gravy!! Twilight, you rock! Next time we have turkey I'll have to try that on sandwiches. All our leftovers are officially gone after last night, but I do have the ingredients for a pumpkin pie, so I may need to bake one.... although the ice cream sounds **fantastic**!
