We were at the Richmond Convention Center for a few hours today feeding the homeless and disadvantaged of the city. It's sad how many people have no means to have a decent holiday meal. This is the 2nd year we have done this, and I highly recommend that people make an effort to help others during the holidays. You realize how much you truly have to be thankful for when you are helping others who have so little.

Check out http://www.thegivingheart.org for next year and for other events they do. They probably had about 150 or more tables set up beautifully, with classical musicians playing, serving 100's of meals during each of their 3 sittings. They really give a dignified, delicious Thanksgiving dinner to all those in need.
