    You wouldn't think so.

I won't be seeing my girl for a few weeks, but I'll speak to her tomorrow and hopefully she will receive her gift in the mail soon.

Nearly, nearly. Hallmark Day is nearly over.

Us Singletons would be glad of it :)

Not hallmark day for me. Never sent a valentine's card in my life. A choccies, flowers or a nice dinner say so much more. :)

Actually I never even noticed V Day so much, I didn't really see much advertising for it. I'm starting to feel, seeing as christmas and easter went the same way, whether any of us are really bothering with these holidays anymore. I can remember having easter and christmas explained its origins, but does anyone actually know of half the others??

LOL being single doesn't bother me in the slightest, its the lack of se....er sticky tape that bothers me. Being able to turn up to a lan and crash the night or two at a mates place, be in the same clothes and live on nothing but snack food and coke for those days/nights is cool. Well as long as you get to play decent games and leech stuff you want. Whats not cool is getting that cold stare from your wife/gf for any given length, or worse, nothing being said when you get back.

Oh for a computer nerdess who understands my geek/sci-fi/anime/jpop idol ways.

St. Valentine is supposedly one of the early martyrs of the Church, who encouraged love for other people and the sending of cards and small tokens of affection. Because he was Christian, the Romans decided to chop his head off.
