I wasn't really being serious, Derisa: such things need a lot more planning with a chapter like ours, where only about half a dozen members check in daily. As it was, I myself was out of the house yesterday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and judging from yesterday's forum activity, I'll bet most of us were enjoying the last day of a long weekend, away from our computers.

P.S. Is it me, or does the Victoria Day parade get longer every year? It went 3 1/2 hours yesterday!

Did anyone else see the school band that dressed up in 60's retro outfits, two of them the spitting image of Austin Powers leading the horde, flirting with the ladies on either side of the road, while the musicians played the theme from the Austin Powers movies? Yeah, baby, YEAH!

 

Somehow it seems redundant saying I saw them .

 

That doesn't count, Allard! You were sitting right next to me!
