Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. No go watch ESB, SW Holiday Special (Happy Life Day!), and Listen to C3PO sing "Christmas in the Stars". -Eric
I can never get past the first five minutes of the Christmas Special. I feel like a lousy SW fan every time I try and fail. (Or "do not", if you're a Yoda-ist). It's torture. Who approved that show in the first place?
You, sir, are evil! Listen here?. It does not make you any less of a fan if you hate the holiday special. Hell, even GL hates it. And since he is the maker, and says it doesn?t exist ? well, it doesn?t exist! So, from a certain point of view, a true fan WOULD hate the holiday special! You would!
Better than my outlook... I'd have said that it was just a hair under 10 days until we are rid of thw wretched foolishness that is the holidays! - Bill
Well that's not so much glass half empty, more just plain negativity Edit- Though i bet i can beat you all in that catagory. I get to spend christmas completely alone(aside from the baby). In otherwords, i'm not celebrating it at all, lol.
I don't celebrate this thing called Christmas. Bah Humbugh, I say..... bah humbugh! Of course, I will be seeing my nephew this year. I have a Pod Racer t-shirt that I have been saving for 10 years. It is still brand new. I took it out of its plastic wrapper a few months back, because it got all gross. But I have been waiting for a good time to give him this shirt, seeing as how it is as old as he is - 10 years! And, now back to my regularly scheduled anti-Christmas rhetoric. signed, Scrooge McGrinch - Bill
awe, do you need to visit your christmas past? If only you had held on to her! and if only you hadn't been born all green so people could make fun of you! Ah, but you forgot a detail that will destroy you! Those characters actually did get in touch with their feelings in the end! We all know there is some deep dark missed childhood in you too old boy!
I'd kick you in them middle of next week, if you weren't so far away! See, I am the new (and improved) Scrooge McGrinch. Those other two are mere conformists to society's high demand that everyone has to be subjected to this fleeting feeling of be happy and gay (old school terminology, not the current one for this word). Ya know, it is quite ok for people to be miserable, thankyouverymuch! I mean, seriously, this is not a Brave New World*, for crying out loud. Next thing you know, people will be lining up, in droves, to have their (forced)daily allotment of soma to keep their emotions in check. Well, I like to have the freedom to wallow in my own self-misery, thank you. I don't wish to be forced into conformity, just as my predecessors (Scrooge and Grinch). I am hater of the yule tide, like my yule-tide haters before me! * extra credit points to anyone who catches the Brave New World line, in context with the subject matter! - Bill
Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to our new members. Looking forward to a great year to be a Star Wars fan. May The Force Be With You! -Eric
