JCC Harrison Ford injured in plane crash

Damn.

Here's his plane:

 

Says there were doctors on the gold course he crashed on who rushed to help him.

"Fly? Yes. Land? No."

 

Apparently he's ok, was lucid after the crash.

Variety is the only one listing it as "critical" -- everyone else says, basically, serious condition but walked away under own power and was treated immediately on scene by two rich doctors (since he crashed on a golf course in front of them)

 

Sounds like it could have been a heck of a lot worse, though you can never rule out a head injury causing a deterioration in the hours afterwards...

TMZ, whom I hate to admit is really good at getting these things right, says he is "seriously injured" but nothing worse.

Even Drudge revised his headline from "Harrison Ford Critical" to "Harrison Ford Injured"

So it sounds like it is serious, but not critical (thank the Good Lord).

 

I hope he's ok. Plenty of people walk away from an accident and the head injuries get worse later.

 

Why were you looking at Drudge? I assume in an ironic context.

That's what happened to Liam Neeson's wife about 5 years ago. It was a pretty minor ski accident and said she didn't need to go to the hospital, but there was internal bleeding.

I am sure they will be monitoring Ford quite closely.

Andrew Siciliano, who is best known as the NFL Red Zone Channel guy, was on scene shortly after the crash. He was tweeting photos before anyone knew it was Ford.
