    So I'm gearing up for the premiere next week of the final film, and I'm going with a big group of costumers. I need to make a couple Death Eater masks. I found this:
    http://www.instructables.com/id/Harry-Potter%3a-Make-a-Death-Eater-Mask!/
    But it seems as though using plaster bandages would give a rough texture, where, as you can see here:
    [image=http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081116103024/harrypotter/images/0/0f/Death_Eater_masks.JPG]
    the masks are very metallic. How can I smooth up the bandages?
    Thanks!

    Add a layer of plaster-of-paris, and sand it down.
    Can also use bondo, but more work. On the other hand, it is a harder material.
    If you really want to go top-notch, use fiberglass or mold polystyrene plastic.

    On the other hand, you can start with the base theater mask, and modify.

    All depends on the time you have, tools, budget, and skills.
