Well, fandango FINALLY posted additional times for Rio. The 7:30 would've been better, but since we already committed (though we haven't got our tickets yet), we'll still plan on the 7 pm showing, yes?

edit: uh-oh. Just was checking fandango to see if tickets were available for the 7:00 showing. it couldn't get to the purchase page. hopefully, it was just a program or access error, not a "sorry, we're outta tickets for that showing" type of error. We'll go get our tickets tonight, though, so I guess we'll find out...

edit #2: never mind, back to normal. *whew*

 

okay good. even if, you could still go to the 7:30 if its better for you. We can always do the movie night another showing in an afternoon.

 

We got tix tonight for the 7pm showing. Though the peon at the ticket window said we could exchange for other times, but no refunds. So we'll be there at 6-ish!

Who else is going? Too bad Lindsey can't make it that night!

 

yeah it sucks but I understand her job-I have been there. One thing I like about my job-and one of the few things-is that we close at 5:30.

 

only 10 more hours and the previews will be done and the movie starting!

I am too, I just can't afford to count down the hours. It'll make my sentence here ... err, the rest of my workday ... that much longer...

Oh, and I didn't get any tie. Alivan's had the new style for $25 and the old style for $20. But then I saw on the WB HP shop last night the new style tie for $20, and it has a cool Gryffindor (or Slytherin) crest on it as well. But I don't recall seeing the crest on the ties that the kids wear, so I haven't been able to decide which one to get.

Needless to say, I intend on being hot by wearing me scarf!

I was also gonna bring some HP candies to share, but I didn't have a chance to get any.

I'm gonna have to look up some pics to see if I can get clear shots of the tie. Might have to pick up the WB version. FREE SHIPPING BABY!!!!

Oh, and Julie, my totally lovable wife, went to TRU at Indian School and picked up some chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, ice mice, and droobles best blowing gum! unfortunately, just enough for us to try. But, I'll bring the jelly slugs. She bought a bag for the boys and one for her and I. We had the boys' bag at lunch. Jonathan wasn't too crazy about them. They are gum-drop like consistency and texture. They're all right. But I was really hoping for some Fizzing Whizbees or some Acid Pops. I'll have to keep looking...

Well, I believe Hufflepuff is Blue and yellow. Then you could do ... hmmmm. I don't know if the books ever mentioned school colors for beauxbatons and durmstrang.

Ahhh, you are correct. Ravenclaw is Blue and yellow. Hufflepuff is black and yellow. Notice that yellow or gold is prominent in all house colors, EXCEPT Slytherin? Hmmmmmm....
