Yes there are but it seems there are very few.

 

Hiya! CT SW fan at your service! I am not in the Hartford area, however. I'm closer to Danbury. I also am a college student in Rhode Island from September-May. I'm going back home in two weeks though!

Just thought I'd say hi! Nice to see another CT native on the boards - I was wondering if there were any myself.

I'd like to say hello.

Let me introduce myself, I'm a budding actress who will be working for Funimation in the Fall. Right now, I'm doing commercials and I work in a bridal shop.

 

Yeah, there are some of us. We used to have a Hartford forum, but it got deleted due to lack of activity.

Quite a few of us post in the Music Forum, if you want to track them down.

 

Well, I'm a CT transplant living in Tucson, belonging to the Phoenix Fan Force. I spent over 12 hours in Stamford, CT waiting to see RotJ. I saw Star Wars (some call it A New Hope) over 50 times at the cinema on Greenwich Avenue.

I know there are more Star Wars fans in CT!

 

Yes but apparently they have not yet discovered the lovely thing that is called the "internet" or our forums! I should bug my fellow CT residents... That is, once I return to the state next May!

I'm from CT, if you wanted to know. New Haven area...and there are few of us. I know some, but they don't belong here anyhow.

 

Anyone in CT still interested in getting their own Forum?

 

Um... dunno.

Just as a matter of course, where should we migrant college students "register"? With the local forum closest to our school's town, or the forum closest to our hometown?

 

Either or both... I am a CT resident who is part of the Rhode Island fan force because I go to school in Rhode Island. If there was a CT one near me, I'd do that, too.

And I don't think we're ready for our own forum yet in CT... We don't seem to have a strong presence in any one area.

 

Yeah, that makes sense... I mean, Connecticut's small, but it's not so small that everyone would want to come driving across the state once a month for official meetings or whatever. Whether to Stamford, New Haven, Hartford, or New London, it's going to be a trip for most people.

Maybe we could just start a single thread on here (or continue this one) as an online confederation?

 

Forget getting our own forum! We should get our own chapter of fanforce! We DESERVE a chapter. Me and my friends in New haven are all huge fans and have been for years. I know a 34 year old who has seen ANH in theatres over 250 times!(not joking)

In order for Ct to have their own forum you will need 3 people requesting it
I would be more than happy to create one for you guys at that point

Well, are you requesting one? I mean, are we at a point where we CT fans need our own forum? I'm a Nutmegger at heart, even though I'm in a different state most of the year, so if two more people request it, you can count this as one vote in favor.

Although I'll be residing in NY come August b/c of college...CT is always gonna be my home.

Last time we had a CT forum, it didn't last very long. But there were only like three of us who posted in it regularly.

I'd love to have a CT fanforce, but I'd perfer New Haven to Hartford.

 

I'm in New Haven county. Thats fine with me.
