I just watched The Substitute Episode of the Simpsons with Dustin Hoffman, and bawled.

To paraphrase Chandler Bing: Yeah, it was really sad when the guy stopped drawing Mr Bergstrom.

Hmm Tim Burton didn't destroy the Planet of the Apes. Fox executives did.

What was he? the fifth director attached to that film?

Now that I think of it, I can't understand why it was so bad. The Danny Elfman Theme rocked. The ending was craptacular, but it was done on purpose as an homage to the original's shock value. It seems like something that would have been inevitable in a crappy Planet of the Apes sequel.

(they all were pretty lameoid after the 1st moofie. (Beneath wasn't As Bad but the remake is better than all of the sequels put together.

The ending of RoTS had me on the verge last night, the final montage of shots was brilliant.

    Definately ROTK, in three places:

    1) The charge of the Rohirrim.

    2) The bit where Gandalf talks about dying.

    3) "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" - cue blubbering like a baby.

Also in ROTS - "You were my brother!" :_|

Everyone laughs when I tell them this, but when I was a lot younger than what I am today I saw "My Girl" in the cinema. I cried when Macaulay Culkin died after being stung by all the bees, not because he was dead but because the little girl lost her friend.

I just want to stress that it wasn't because the annoying child actor died. Why doesn't anyone believe me?

I never saw My Girl as a kid (girl germs kinda movie and all)

But I always wanted to see what i thought would be a horrifying and gruesome death....

I imagined little macualay's skin bubbling and red, and warts and welts everywhere, but I finally saw it on the "Hallmark Channel" at my mates place while his mum was watching it.

    Stupid G rated editing! [face_laugh]
