    New Story!!

    This is just after TPM

    Obi-Wan's view

" I now proclaim you Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight," annouced Master Windu as he cut off my Padawan braid.

I silently slipped it into the pocket of my robe.

The ceremony ended with Yoda's long speech and him concluding, " May the Force be with you."

I walked out with my Padawan Anakin tagging along.

" Is something wrong Master?" asked Anakin and I reluctantly nodded my head.

" I'll explain when we are back in our quarters," I rushed as Anakin opened his mouth again.

We returned to our quarters, where I quickly lied, " It feels strange to suddenlt be a knight."

I told Anakin he may do whatever he wishes and I sneaked into my room while Anakin happily started to build something.

As I closed the door of my room, I took out my Padawan braid.

This lock of hair, was what told everyone I was Qui-Gon's Master.

A flashback occured right in front of my eyes, a sith lord battling with my Master and suddenly the red sithy blade went right through him.

I heard myself scream, " NOOOOO!!!!!"

Another flashback occured and I saw Katherine's pale face.

Tears welled up in my eyes and to the thought I had that Master Jinn would proudly cut off my braid.

Blackness began to surrond me and I fell to the ground with my Padawan braid clutched in my hand.

    Bant's Point of view

Sitting at a table, I began to eat my sandwich.

Suddenly my comlink went off, and I answered, " Bant here."

" Hello??? Someone come quickly, Obi-Wan is...." sobbed a small voice.

I froze and felt my own heartbeat quicken.

Abandoning my lunch, I ran out my quarters and all the way down to Obi-Wan's quarters.

Rushing into the quarters, I kicked his room's door open and saw the thing that many of the Jedi had feared.

Obi-Wan was on the floor, and he looked like he was dead.

Praying that this wasn't true, I bent down to get a better look at him.

His padawan was sobbing and he looked like he was struggling to control his feelings.

Grabbing my comlink, I contacted the lead healer and shouted, " Obi-Wan is unconscious and he needs to be taken to the Healer's wing now!!"

I knew that the healers would come quickly since Obi-Wan's health had been dropping since his Master's death.

The healers rushed in several minutes later, they quickly put him on a stretcher and an oxygen mask.

Some of them hastily tried to hook him up to an IV and I yelled at them to work more quickly.

They rushed him down the corridor with Anakin and I running after them.

Several Jedi stopped to watch and I threw them a look which made them to stop staring.

Obi-Wan was soon put in the healer's wings and many healers tried to find out what was wrong with him.

All I knew was that Obi-Wan was not doing well at all.

    Anakin's view:

Obi-Wan was hooked up to several life support machines, several beeping and others flashing lights.

The person who I contacted through Obi-Wan's comlink and I watched him, anxiously.

Several members of Council visited including Yoda and Master Windu.

" I never knew he would take Qui-Gon's death so seriously," said Master WIndu sadly during one of his visits.

" I heard that he lost another friend before," another member added.

I knew that I was going to watch my Master until he awoke.

During the night I watched him, even when several healers begged me to return to my quarters.

At dawn, one of his life support machines began to beep wildly and suddenly BEEEEEPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

Healers rushed in and Obi-Wan, for several minutes was considered a goner.

" This CAN'T BE TRUE!!!" cried the person I contacted as she broke down into tears and sobbs.

    Awwww no... poor Obi. :(

This is very interesting! I love how you use the different points of view.. =D=

one small mistake in the first post,

'was what told everyone I was Qui-Gon's Master' that should be,

'was what told everyone I was Qui-Gon's apprentice,'

    :)

Please update soon! I hope Obi will be alright...[face_praying]

    Obi-Wan's view:

I was awoken, to a small " Master??"

I weakly looked over to see Anakin anxiously looking at me with red eyes.

Bant was hiccupping between her sobbs and she scolded, " You should have not scared me like that."

    She then collapsed, crying.

Trying to comfort her, I suddenly lost the feeling the surrondings and I saw more flashbacks occurred, birthdays, assignments, arguments and many more.

Between flashbacks, I heard someone crying.

The roaring of a machine and me shouting out lines I said to my Master.

" Obi!!!" screamed a voice as a pair of hands began to shake me feriously.

" NOOOO!!!" I yelled as I once again saw my Master's death.

It was the end my life.

I was no longer Jedi, but a man haunted by memories of my past.

A light came before my eyes and I saw Katherine and Master Jinn.

I soon felt Bant shaking me and cursing me and telling me that I better survive.

Breathing hard, I ripped off the oxygen mask and all of the life support machine tubes, leaving only the IV.

" Must... see.. him.." I croaked as I weakly walked out of the healer's wing and out of the temple.

I heard Bant and Anakin following with much concern and I finally reached the destination I needed to go to.

I collapsed near the buring area of my Master and I finally felt peace come over me at last.

    rhonderoo: Thank you.

Star_Drifter: I guess you are right.:)

Gkilkenny: The answer to your question will be given in the next post.

    JOINME: EEK!!

Well, here is the next post:

    Bant's point of view

" Obi!!" I yelled as I watched Obi-Wan collapse near the firing pyre.

" Master!!" sobbed Anakin as we both rushed toward Obi-Wan.

" Oh, please Force, don't let this happen! Along with God, Buddah, etc," I whispered.

For some annoying reason, I would start naming all of the Gods and Godnesses of different religons when I mention the Force.

As I checked Obi-Wan's pulse, I found it beating, but weakly.

Sighing, I pulled Obi-Wan up, staggering from his weight and letting out a long stream of curses.

Taxing my strength, I pulled him onto my back and I suddenly felt that carrying ten textbooks wouldn't even be close to be carrying a grown man

    on your back.

Running as quickly as I can, I carried Obi-Wan over to the Temple's entrance and found most of the healers waitng for us.

Placing him on the portable stretcher they brought, relieving my back from the extra weight.

I quickly followed them alon with Anakin how had ran up to me, just as the healers took Obi-Wan away.

    ( Continuation of Bant's view)

As Anakin and I rushed downstairs, we came to see Obi-Wan once again being hooked up to life support machines, oxygen masks, etc.

Only this time, there where even more.

The lead healer turned to us and said gravely," I am afraid that Obi-Wan is in a critical condition.

He will either, be in coma or die."

    I felt myself stiffen.

" If he does fall into coma, then when he is awoken, he will either be mental or in a life or death condition," continued the Lead Healer.

Gulping, I felt the walls close around me.

" Can any medication be given to him?" I asked vaugly.

" No, I am afraid that it is up to Obi-Wan.

Even the Force cannot help in this situation.

The only thing we can do is that we can put him on several life support machines or you can let him go and let him die naturally." the healer said calmly.

" Are you KIDDING me?? I AM NOT GOING TO LET GO OF OBI-WAN!!" I yelled as I felt the last few words hit me hard.

I vowed that I would make sure Obi-Wan will fight to the end, no matter what.

I felt someone tap me and I turned around to see a Padawan said clearly, " The Council wants to see you."

" Tell them I am busy," I snapped.

" I am afraid that the Counicil wants to see you and Anakin now," the Padawan said.

Sighing, I gestured for Anakin to follow me as we both unwillingly left the Healer's wing.

    Mace WIndu's view

The two entered the Council chamber with every bit of annoyance written on their faces.

" We would like to give you an assignment," I began, but was interrupted by Bant.

" No, I will not and refuse to go on an assignment," she snapped.

" Bant you must understand," I began again, but was once again interrupted by Bant.

    " Don't you understand??

    Obi-Wan needs us.

I refuse to go on any assignment," Bant snapped.

" Bant please listen, you must," I pleaded.

" I am afraid I can't Master Windu, I already have an assignment," she said firmly and left with Anakin.

Katherine's view ( Force ghost) ( She was in my other story " I Decide")

Sighing, I watched Obi-Wan lay in the Healer's wing.

Shaking my head, I turned to Qui-Gon and said sadly, " I didn't know Obi-Wan and you were that close enough to make him fall ill."

Smiling grimly he replied, " I was the one who gave him permission to recieve your last wishes."

" Obi-Wan really looks like he is giving up his life.

I guess he felt really depressed that he lost two people in his life that he couldn't take it anymore," I said quietly.

" Maybe it is his time to go," muttered Qui-Gon.

"I don't think so," I said shaking my head.

As I watched Bant and Anakin rush back into the Healer's wing, I saw something that I had dreaded.

Obi-Wan's life support machines showed that his brain activity was decreasing.

    One of The Last Posts!!

    Obi-Wan's view:

I knew that I was giving up easily and that I refused to keep my life.

" What is the point?? I am already a sucky teacher and I could have saved Qui-Gon if only I had been quicker," I thought bitterly.

    " Obi-Wan.." a voice called out.

    " Bant??" I thought weakly.

    " No, Obi-Wan.

    Just listen to these words:

Losing the most important people in your life doesn't you have to give your life up.

That proves that you are heck stupid," the voice said heatedly.

I thought of the words for a while as I felt my life slip through my grasp.

The voice was right, but what can I do??

My life was already dropping and I knew that there was no way to regain it.

    " I am ready Force," I whispered.

A brilliant white light flashed and I felt my life change.

    Qui-Gon's view:

    I nervously watched my Padawan.

Was he going to live or ignore the message??

A machine roared and I saw that everyone broke down, including me.

Even though Force ghosts weren't usually know to cry, I felt teardrops roll down my face.

"Look!" cried Katherine as she looked up from hands.

I saw that my Padawan's eyes flutter and they opened weakly.

My Padawan had lived, he had lived.

Smiling, Katherine and I appeared and I saw Obi-Wan's look of wonder.

Katherine was still crying, but blew a kiss.

I grinned and I heard my Padawan softly say, " I know that you will be with me, now I can start the world anew."

I agreed and we slowly faded away.

    The End
