Do we pay the museum entrance fee?
Worker bees don't pay fees.
Kind of last minute, but we need candy so please bring a bag or two on Sunday. If you can't go but want to help you can always Paypall the RMFF $ email@example.com I can run out and get the best bang for your buck or if there's an abundance of cash it will keep in the treasury until further needs arise.
Can we could get a head count and your estimated times? If you don't mind we may need bodies to fill the activity areas.
I will be there from 9 till probably 5, since I am running the whole shebang I will be unavailable to help with the activities.
Linda and I will be there about 11:30 or so. We'll be bringing candy. I'm happy to be stationed wherever you need me.
I'm planning on between 10:00 and 11:00. It depends on how I'm feeling, which is varying widely lately....
I'm planning on being there just after 10am! Hmmm, still need costume.....
I will be there at 10:00, plenty O' candy in hand.
I think Lis will follow around 11:00, unless work gets in the way.
I have the tattoo stuff, and whatever else is in that box.
I'll be there around 11.
I should be there somewhere around 11:00-11:30
My wife and son and I will be there around 11 ish,all in costume this time;with some extra candy.
I have a couple sith droid attack toys I could bring. I would need help manning them though. If you guys think this is doable please let me know. It's a pretty fun game - I have 2 sabers and 2 sith droids with nerf discs.
I'll be there at 10:00 to help set up. And I'm able to stay until 2:00. I'll grab a bag of candy on the way over.
bring them, there should be plenty of us to help out.
Jeff, sounds great! I have a good idea of perhaps setting them up in a ring and letting the kiddos try and block the shooting discs.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!
Had a great time and the turn out was super legit!! Way to go!!
so great to see so many people...i wish i could have stayed longer!
Today was awesome! Great job Becca!
AWESOME. A huge shout out to the "organizational crew!"
The event was great! The RMFF table was the best by far as far as number of kids coming by, the amount of cool stuff we had, and the great amount of volunteers and supporters. Great job everyone! Hopefully there was enough candy to last until 4.
Thanks to those who really helped organize and run this. It was a lot of fun seeing and hanging out with everyone who was there.
We had to get a few refills of this huge bucket for candy but we had enough until the end.
And great job being the tattoo artist at the Tatooine station, zeraduel. Kids and adults seemed to love them. Even the young ladies who wanted an RMFF temp tattoo in risque places.
Everything seemed to run very smoothly, and the trick-or-treaters were very happy. It was so fun to see them!
Teardown and cleanup took just around an hour. Awesome job, everybody! Aren't we cool for being the well-oiled machine that gets things done.
EXTRA-AWESOME JOB, BECCA! You rawk!
Huge props to everyone for making this yet another record breaking year!
By 2PM we'd already blown past the attendance record, and by the close of day, we'd completely decimated the record. Last year we were in the 670 range, with a big Groupon promotion going on before the event. This year, w/o that promotion, with a little advertising from the museum, and the word of mouth generated by your hard work...we hit 934.
We've gotten high praise from all the groups involved, and our concessionaire has already asked for a return invite! Everyone should take a few minutes to pat yourselves on the back. And the next time you see her, I think we all owe Becca a little of the same, because she really went all out to keep this whole thing together.
