This is it: the place to take a break from all your psychotically serious Star Wars discussions and enjoy hanging out with the other Lit forum members.

So did anyone watch New Year's Rockin' Eve last night? Did anyone see Solange Knowles performing as a member of Clan Vos?

Nope we were gonna watch it but then we found Superbad on TMN. [face_laugh] Why didn't somebody tell me this was so funny! I almost sprayed "fake" champagne out my nose three times!

I spent my New Year's evening watching the Clone Wars movie with a buddy. It was fun. We also played a crapload of Soul Calibur IV...His skills with Starkiller are impressive, but no match for my Yoda.

I watched the one with Dick Clark, dunno if that's the one you're talking about. In any event, that man really scares me.

Fell so far behind on the old thread that I'd kind of given up on catching up. Now I don't have to! Fresh starting point! Woot!

Read some of the subject lines for the earliest posts, you'll see why.

    You gotta do it right.

Anyway, to carry over, congrats to Sinre, and YOU ARE WRONG to Sinre. Reservoir Dogs is great. Pulp Fiction is better.

    With ships or without? ;)

Jello, why haven't you been coming in the senate thread? I know you've had a few PMs, if you can't play then at least tell us.

    Congrats, Sin.

Yes, I couldn't spell this morning. My fiancée - here visiting my family with me - kept distracting me with the fact that she's so blasted pretty.

Thanks for the help, both Hav and Quest. [face_peace]

Don't feel too bad about spelling Ker, I said 'pot' instead of 'pod' yesterday.

Congrats Sin, and you've finally seen Pulp! Now ex has to watch it, considering we compared the Gimp to Obi-Wan...

Same program, but later. After the ball dropped, Ryan Seacrest took over from Dick Clark, and there were a number of performances. One of them was this performance from Solange Knowles. Check out her makeup, is all I'm saying. I almost geeked, but no one else at the party would have understood my reference.

I can't stand Ryan Seacrest, only good thing I've seen him in was Knocked Up when he was acting sort of normal for about ten seconds.

But then I can't talk, we had bad people hosting the new years over here to. That woman they had, I wanted to choke her.

Does anyone else feel the same about these false media personalities who dumb everything down to the level of the binary language of moisture vaporators?
