Nah. Because we don't really know that much about the Pathfinder setting, one player rolled a Sheogorath-worshiping half-Orc, and I rolled a disgraced Morag Tong operative. I just assume that I got spat out of some weird trans-dimensional rift while traipsing through Coldharbour or the Colored Rooms.

And the statue wasn't explicitly called Shiva, but it had six arms and was located in an abandoned temple deep in the jungle. The writers of the campaign didn't really try to disguise what they were going for.

Although, the player who rolled the Shiggy worshiper is planning to GM Call of Cthulhu sometime soon.

The Pathfinder setting seems to be pretty inclusive -- I don't think it would be odd to include the et'Ada in the setting alongside any other pantheon. I've always liked having campaign settings that are rather modular and interconnected through things such as Planescape and Spelljammer.

Oh, I once quoted the Apographa at a bunch of Orcs who had cornered me, and they all ran away in terror.

"DEFY ME, AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO STAND BEFORE A GOD."

I am not in danger, Skyler. I AM the danger. A guy opens his door and gets trampled by a giant monster and you think that of me? No. I AM THE ONE WHO KNOCKS . . . OVER BUILDINGS.

I so hope his character suggests ricining Godzilla.

I like the idea of facing the Lovecraftian horrors in Pathfinder and fighting them like Conan the Barbarian does in Xuthal of the Dusk and The Vale of Lost Women. And he runs away from a Cthulhoid in The Scarlet Citadel! And I suppose that is what Arnold was doing in Conan the Destroyer when he fought Andre the Giant wearing paper mache.

For some reason that I'm still not sure of, I watched Movie 43 with a friend.

I'm no longer convinced life is worth living.

How did you even make it through? I just had to switch it off after 10 minutes and we then just watched The World's End again.

Because backing down would have been admitting defeat. I was really hoping it was going to be Troll 2/Birdemic/The Room bad, but it was just cripplingly painful bad.

If you can believe it, it actually gets worse as it goes on.

The only reason I knew that we lost today (and that the game was against the Tre Kronor) was that I spent the day at communal work at the guild house and they streamed the game on the big screen. The only way I'll know the result of the last game will be because you'll complain about it then :)
