Have you guys (adm, managers mod)ever meet personaly each other?

Thats something i have thinking some time ago. Do you ever meet personaly, or its all a anonymous business betwen you?

I personally haven't met any of the other mods, but I know that some of them have met in person, at Star Wars Celebration 2 and similar events.

Yeah, some of us have met, not in any professional sort of capacity, but just at events like YodaFett described. I've met Vert, Red-Seven, Missy, and a few others.

 

There's no organized ModCon festival gathering, if that's what you're asking. Although some have obviously met, like Lord Bane and PreacherBoy, for example.

 

Lord Bane == PreacherBoy ?

Hey, i dont think im spamming. Those questions are valid, and ive never had a answer to them in all those months here in TFN. SO i believe that ive the right to pose as many valid questions as i want. If you think that putting all questions in a single thread is the best option, then it would just apply to many things here in TFN. Besides it would dilute each of the questions.

I have never heard of a limit in number of "valid" threads per day and per forum that each poster should make. You must clarify your rules better before making warnings.

 

Just send Joshua Griffin an e-mail or a Private Message and ask him the questions. And posting topics continuously in the same forum about the same thing is pretty much spamming.

If you want to ask a few question to the administration, do it in one thread.

 

You can just PM older members, or just slow it. It wasn't something to get defensive about. It just sorta looks bad, y'know?

Gay-Len It looked to me like Griff was joking...just trying to make a joke based on their history.


Some of the Aussie mods have met each other....apparently they like picking on Stinky....he's like the little kid in the group that everyone picks on, but yet he keeps tagging along

 

From what I've heard, I wouldn't pick on stinky. He's been known to raise hell.

Ummm, anyway, so, yeah....mods have met each other....it isnt an unusual occurrence....some through FanForce, others are online friends that live in the same general area, or can meet each other for a special occasion.

Its like asking if regular members have ever met each other.

I've never met anyone from the boards, mod or not. I spoke one time on the phone to Grilled-Sarlacc.

 

I've met a few rsa's, a mod or two and a gsa.
I've met some of the ep-x staff too.

It can be fun, can be hideous, but either way gives you a new outlok on the people you meet.
I would recomend it.

The only mod I've seen since becoming a mod is the midwest FF RSA, Bobafemme. But before that... many.
