I ran TFN from early 2000 to mid 2001. Had to quit due to family obligations. I also created the Darth Maul Estrogen Brigade in 1999, gave it up in 2001 too, for the same reasons. AOTC was totally ruined for me based on all the inside info we had gathered (which was WAY more than what was posted on the net). Since it's the last SW movie coming up, I am trying to go in as pristine as I can. 2000-2001 were heavy SW years for me.
In 2001 I joined the 501st as a biker scout. I attended Celebration II as such. Now the biker scout costume is sold too, and I'm a "regular" fan now.
