Has anyone here had an opportunity to play Knights of the Old Republic? One of the planets that you end up having to travel to during the game is Korriban, and it looks pretty impressive... :D (The game is awesome too...)

Yesterday i visited a friend and looked through Dark horse´s "The golden age of the Sith" comics.
It has been mentioned alot of times in this thread, but i must say it again:
Korriban would fit in perfectly in epIII.
It would present a new environment; Egyptian style buildings, large eerie statues, old temple ruins, new horrific animals; the black catlike creatures that roames the valley. It would also give some insight to the whole Sith cult. This far, we have only seen them operating from Coruscant. And it would be a perfectly epic place for the duel and Vader´s birth.
AND, since there have been speculating about Sith spirits, i thought that the EU character could be one of those ancient dark lords.
Like Marka Ragnos, the Sith spirit that shows himself in spiritform in named comic.
That could really give some insight to the cult itself. Maybe Palpatine use to visit Korriban to speak and/or gain power to/from these spirits. It would be awesome to see some scary ghoasts in Sw, maybe even participate in events/the battle.

Thanks DarthLazious, I'm glad you like them. I'm sorry I haven't had much to post lately, but I just haven't found any new information. I am looking, though, everyday for new Korriban/Caamas information. MOSEP, great research! The Egyptian-Style buildings would definitely provide a dramatically dark background. As I said once before, I also agree that Sith spirits having some part in the final battle would rock! Hopefully something along these lines will happen!

To bring up Knights of the Old Republic, I've been playing the PC version the last couple of weeks, and have just gotten to Korriban. Talk about awesome temples and ruins! :D

As we grow closer and closer to Episode III, it appears less and less likely that we'll be seeing our beloved Korriban (at least, I haven't heard anything, but I'm not into this whole "spoiler" dealie, which is quite fortunate, considering the forum I'm posting in). Still, we of the "Korriban and Caamas?" thread can always hope, right?

    Right? [face_chicken]

In light of my opinion of the likeliness of seeing Korriban in Episode III, I have this to say to the loyal denizens of this thread: Jedi Quest #10: The Final Showdown. Anakin Skywalker goes to Korriban, is taunted by the ghosts long-dead Dark Lords, battles Sith beasts, explores ancient Sith buildings, etc. Sounds like everything we were hopeing to see next May. Take heart, friends, and witness that, at the very least, our hopes will not go totally unrealized. :D

    Peace out. [face_peace]
