Five days. Holy cow. Only five days.

Five is my favorite number, by the way. :D

Wow, at this moment it is exactly 5:55!!!

Hey guys...sorry I haven't posted my review here. I put it in stormcloud8's review thread. If anyone missed it here it is again...HCSF of course:

    Hi Garth,

Here is my spoiler-free review of the May 12th charity premiere of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC.

Bear with me as I am typing this out on my PDA while taking the train home. It's late at night and although I am exhausted I just cannot fall asleep after what I just saw.

I won't bore anyone with describing the red carpet premiere stuff. I will have some pictures posted on Friday, if all goes well.

Let's get straight to the movie shall we? I don't know if going into the theater mostly spoiler-free will affect my reaction, I still enjoyed TPM and AOTC although I was severely spoiled. Here we go...

This movie is the tragic chapter of the saga. I tried many times to hold back tears but the thought of the last SW movie and the darkness of this film left me completely drained....but totally blown away as to how GL tied everything together. It's overwhelming. It's beautiful. It's depressing. It set out to shock us all and it does it many, many times.

Ian, Hayden and Ewan were all fantastic. Everyone else did a great job with what was given to them. SFX and the digital presentation just blew me away. I can't really say much else without giving away a spoiler, but rest assured, you will all be very, very happy you stayed spoiler free. This ranks somewhere between ANH and ESB (my top 1 and 2 films, respectively) and it eliminates the whole PT-OT separation for me. I will refer to the films as EP1-6 from now on.....oh yeah and R2 and Yoda completely rocked....
    ------------

Since this review I have changed my viewpoint on ranking the films. I've decided to treat the saga as a whole. It has opened my eyes differently in viewing the Jedi, the Sith, and Anakin's prophecy. I also now consider a certain character to be the second most important character in the saga after Anakin. But I won't discuss it further until after the premiere. Stormcloud8 knows who I'm talking about. :)

Going in almost completely HCSF was well worth it. I think my eyes never moved from the screen. It was AWESOME. It left me drained and saddened, but thankful to GL for giving us this beautiful masterpiece that I now believe I truly understand.

Forget days I'm counting hours. Now It's different depending on your time zone so I'll go with Pacific (since that's where I live). So everyone else just take comfort in the fact that it's less then me!

94 hours to go! Everybody is less than 100 hours away from a midnite show!

Wow, that one human bounty hunter sure looks fearsome! (Obvious sarcasm.) I've never noticed him before. I bet he's got a huge backstory in the EU, too!

Thanks for the review! Nice to hear from a non-spoiled fan point of view. Just three days left!!! So, are we all going to post on here the second we get home from seeing the film? If I don't march right back in and watch it again, I will try to post my quick thoughts. I begin the journey 12:30pm EST Thursday. Stay strong, we are almost there!

If I dont fall asleep first, as 2:30 in the morning comes early, especially when you have to go to work the next day.
