So, who's dressing up for Halloween and as what?

 

I've got the Padme Picnic thing going.

 

I am dressing as a young Obi-wan style Jedi for my wedding reception which os on Halloween.

 

Cool. I hadn't planned on dressing up but I decided last Thursday that I would, so I don't have time for anything amazing or elaborate. Right now I'm debating amongst:

dryad
gypsy
peasant (would be very easy)
Titania (from a Midsummer Night's Dream)

I need to decide this afternoon so I can get whatever I need...

 

i want to be a clerk for halloween. who shall join me?

 

I was picnic Padme last year. I had to start that dress in July and I was still working until the last minute! It was awesome, though.

Ooohhh, Clerks. I have a friend who went as Silent Bob one year, (he had a Mooby hat and everything) and it was uncanny. Creepy. He tried to get me to go as Jay, but... I was already Princess Leia.

This year I'm being Hermione from Harry Potter (go ahead, throw stuff, it's cool). Not that I'm doing anything. I was supposed to have a party, but everyone's working now. The nerve.

A couple weeks ago I wore a new hat and when my bf saw me in it he kind of laughed and told me I looked like Jay. I tried to smack him

The night before when kids came trick-or-treating I was a tavern wench because I didn't have all of my gypsy costume. (I didn't actually tell the kids I was a tavern wench, but my bf thought it was pretty funny) But on Thursday I was a full-fledged gypsy

 

trick-or-treaters scare me.

Yeah in St. Louis the temp can go from 70 to 30 in a single day. This happens all the time. Currently we're freezing our you know whats off. Can I share your fire Arwen?

 

Certainly! Would you like some hot chocolate or cider?

 

Looking at the 2-4" of snow, I think cider sounds like fun tonight. I'll grab some snacks!

 

That cider would have been nice a week ago. Now the snow has mostly melted.
