PunkMaister?All my warnings about Nihl were because of Chapter 11. And he?s not done, though at least most of the rest of his predations are not on civilians. As for the target list?I have a few cameos here and there, but I keep within the established timeframe.

Talon_Kenobi?Rain Robinson first appeared in Voyager?s only time travel episode, ?Future?s End.? She was played by Sarah Silverman, the raunchy comedienne. In The Eugenics Wars novels I?ve spoken of about before, after Gary Seven retires and leaves Roberta Lincoln in charge, Rain finds Roberta and is recruited to be Roberta?s new assistant.

Jedi-2B?He really does make Vader look good. Vader was many things, but I never saw him as an out-right Sadist. Nihl is.

TigerofRobare?See PunkMaister. It?s like the guy?s reading my mind. It was a FAB. If you ever saw the otherwise forgettable Dustin Hoffman movie Outbreak, it shows a FAB explosion. Tennenbaum didn?t actually have it himself, he sent the request through his allies in the military, of which he has a few.

LordInferno?Re: the FAB?let?s just say there is a whole CABAL involved behind Tennenbaum. What Green told Daniel were other forces. As for the Kyles, yes, that will be a bit of a tongue twister. I came up with an interesting solution for it.

Cibbler?Thank you. I liked Rain too. She was really adorable in Voyager?she and Tom got on well, and she ribbed Tuvok the entire time he was on Earth. It was fun.


So finally Kyle Katarn makes it to Earth. I know it took a while, but I needed all the pieces set up first before I introduced the strongest living Jedi Master to the mix.

Chapter 12: A Jedi in Colorado

Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado

The blue plasma faded and Daniel Jackson found himself standing in his research lab next to Roberta Lincoln.

?That was odd,? he muttered, even after two trips still unaccustomed to Lincoln?s method of transport. He turned and looked at her. ?You know, I?m not even sure how to introduce you.?

?Roberta will do just fine,? she said with a cheery smile. ?Come on, sweetie. Let?s go meet your crew. General Hammond should be in today as well, if I read your base logs right.?

Daniel did not even ask how she would have access to base logs. If she had access to an Asgard computer, regardless of how old or obsolete it was to the Asgard, she could hack practically any system in the world with ease.

The two of them stepped out of Jackson?s labs into the familiar corridors of Stargate Command. As they started walking, two soldiers rounded a corner at a run. ?Doctor Jackson!? one of the men said. ?We received notice of an energy signal in your lab.?

?That was us, I?m afraid,? Jackson said. ?Um, this is a guest of mine, but she doesn?t have clearance. You might want to escort us to General Hammond just to follow forms.?

The soldiers stared at Roberta and then with curt nods motioned for the two to continue down the hall. Roberta studied her surroundings intently. The Stargate program had come as a shock not only to her, but even to her retired boss, Gary Seven, who had returned from the Aegis to research it. They concluded that any action on their part to interfere would have dire consequences on their long term mission, and so let the program go.

Sorry I haven't replied in a while, I got really busy with work this is the first time I have had a chance to sit at the computer in ages.

That was a great chapter, I love how its all starting to come together. I just hope that Siana and the rest of the gang can save Max's dad and Isabels husband from the crazy FBI agent.

Well, well, well. Very interesting indeed. I loved the entranc eof Kyle... nice to see that the Stargate affects Jedi the same as any other human. Oh, and Tennenbaum... he is definiitely on my "liking less with each update" list. I hope the Evans' and everyone get through this ok.

Just caught up on the last three chapters. You have done an excellent job of combining the diff. sci-fi shows together to make a wonderful follow-up to the Ori crisis. Keep'em coming, and keep up the good work.

The Force doesn?t exist in the wormholes (I?m making that up, but it?s my story, so there ). As for Tennenbaum?remember everything he says is not the truth.

Chapter 13: A Convergence of Events

Rogers Air Force Base, New Mexico

5:15 p.m. MST

Major Samantha Carter stared at the alien console inside the recovered UFO in a state of shock. Just four hours ago, Colonel Green came to tell her the bad news.

?We?re not sure how it happened, Major,? the colonel said. ?The breaker switch did not function properly and he was killed almost instantly. We?ve already contacted Air Command.?

Four hours. It was amazing how much could change so quickly. Four hours ago, she was eating lunch with her friend. Now Daniel was dead.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see a pregnant Shannon Janeway looking at her compassionately. ?Are you all right??

Sam wiped her eyes with the base of her palm and nodded. ?Yeah, I?m fine,? she lied. ?I just can?t believe he?s really dead this time.?

?This time??

?Long story.? She looked down at her folded hands.

?I have a confession to make,? Shannon said. ?I really hate it here. I?m going to ask to be released from my contract. I think I?ll be able to use my pregnancy as an excuse.?

Sam took the other woman?s hand. ?I?ll miss you, but I understand. This Colonel Green doesn?t know how to work with civilians. Or anyone, for that matter. It?s beyond me why he was selected for this project.?

Suddenly a klaxon went off. The two researchers stepped out of the alien shuttle just as a swarm of soldiers descended not only on them, but all the researchers. Colonel Green came walking right behind them.

?Ladies and gentlemen, I must ask everyone to assemble in the conference room immediately, please.? With soldiers flanking them, the technicians had little choice but to obey. When the hundred or so technicians were gathered in the conference room, Green walked to the front podium.

?There has been a significant breach of security, both inside and out of this base. We have determined that there were at least two occupants of the alien craft. One is directly responsible for at least seven civilian deaths and the deaths of the entire first response team. The second occupant likely received aid from outside sources and is believed to be in Roswell at this t

 

This is really good. I liked that backstory of explaining how the Republic again fell. Are we going to hear what happened to Luke. I know in real EU he is the most powerful Jedi, but after what the Ori did too him he became even more powerful then that, so I am wondering what happened to him. And another thing, any plans on making any of the humans force sensitive. I know (actually think I remember) Jack's DNA is special and a lot like the ancients, maybe those could be Midicholrians? I am jsut remembering how much fun he had with wrist device that gave him super speed and everything, could you imagine him with the Force, it would be hilarious. Even Mulder, that guy deserves something good to happen too him

I am really at a loss for words here. This is such a great story and has so much going on in it. The details are vivid and intense. I love it! Keep up the great work.

Well Midichlrians only exist in the SW galaxy but very much do the function that the Ancients gene performs anyway...
But heck yeah I hope some of them have annd can use some ancients type force powers or at the very least use ancient tech I'd love for Maria to find out she can do such a thing! Imagine the surprise of her alien buddies!

Ah, yes, good ol' Jeff and Nancy Parker. Btw, I looked up the names of the actors, and they were John Doe and Jo Anderson. So your original 'Joe' was understandable.

Lots of baddies in this story... Nihl, Green, Tennenbaum. Should lock 'em all in a room together and let them eliminate each other.

 

What's that about the Ori invading the GFFA? Was that in that earlier story? Great update, thanks for the PM.

Great chapter. I loved the history lesson, I also loved the way Siana explained the Sith to the others. I am glad they all got away but I am not sure those researches with Green are going to have a very good time of it.
