hi again, it is hard to find other females that like star wars... a lot of my friends think i'm weird(i think it's because of star wars but...). i am from the northern burbs as in rockland co. i often pay the $4.00(it is still $4 right?) entry fee to the amusement park that is NYC...hope we can all get together soon.

Quick with the responses aren't I? Okay, christmas is less than two weeks away and I haven't bought a single gift yet. I need to get moving. I am one of those people who stand on check out lines on christmas eve. I don't know why any of you guys needed to know this......wasn't it cold today though?

 

Yeah, it was cold today, but I prefer it over the winds we had yesterday.

 

Hey Yanksfan, I was beginin to think you forgot about me! I must agree today was particularly cold. I also sympathize with your holiday shopping woes. I made the mistake of attempting to shop around 34th street this past Saturday and it was such a mob! If not shoppers, it was tourists. God I hate tourists this time of year....there's just so many of them! I really need to find a time to buy presents though where it won't be packed, I haven't bought a thing either

 

Shoeless, I can relate, I was in the City this past Saturday, it was a nightmare. Damn tourists

 

lol, nice to know I'm not the only one dumb enough to venture over there on a holiday weekend. It's a good thing I was around Rockafeller Centre, I could only imagine what a nightmare that place was with the tree and all....damned tourists *grumble crumble, muttering under breath....*

 

It'll be like that until after New Year's atleast. But besides the tourists, isn't Christmas in New York great? I like it....

 

Oh of course u gotta love it, it really is a beautiful thing. I think I'm gonna have to wait till I get back to Long Island for the Winter to do my VERY last minute Christmas shopping. It's only slightly less insane over there.

 

At least you guys are only coming down to the city on the weekend,I work near the Javits center on 34th & have to deal with all the tourist's & people on a daily basis.I definatly agree with Yanksfan,N.Y. looks absolutly beautiful at xmas time.Talk later.

I actually started my Christmas shopping today. Ugh. I hate it. I came right home and took a nap.

Good to see I'm in the spirit of things huh?

 

i can't wait until thursday. it is the last day of school before vacation, but it is also time for the annual christmas classic. the seniors play the teachers in a basketball game. it becomes hilarious at some points.
