aaahhh, it's nice to be back! a long time since that whole forgot my password thing after TPM left theatres. yes, i was really a user back in the day... I used to have a '98 registration! curses to my memory.

anyway, the EU is the Expanded Universe of Star Wars, and basically refers to anything that is not in the movies. information people are talking about that you don't recognize is most likely EU - from books, mostly, but also many other sources such as video games and toys.
