    I'm new and finding my way around. I've never been part of any online community and so have limited posting experience. I'd be interested in meeting a few people so that it no longer feels like orientation. I look forward to this experience, should be fun. (Even though I picked a bad time--right before finals--to sign up) :)

    This is/was my first experience with an online community too! :D And I think you will find that you will catch on quick, it's pretty straight forward and everyone I've met is willing to help you if you need it!

    So same goes for me! :) If you want to ask me anything I'd be happy to share what I know, just pm me! Though I'm sure there are others more qualified to guide you.... [face_blush]

    You like to meet new people? Why don't you stop by at the newbie welcome party? It's a great place to meet new people and other new members. Or how about your local FanForce? There you can even meet other SW fans in real life if you want to - which is much fun! :D

    I really hope that you find some nice places to stay and to meet new people. There are lots of chances and I'm sure you find a great place soon. :)
    (And getting adopted is a good first step. ;) )

    This was my first experience as well. Besides participating at comicbloc.com, I've never really been anywhere else [or at least participated].

    Anyway, welcome to the boards.

    The EUC New User Social is always open and it has some slightly older n00bs [not F.O.R.L. :p], although it's somewhat slow right now...
