So after the announcement of the Obi Wan movie I finally decided to get my butt on the forums and join y'all. I haven't been in forums since Farscape era Just a little about me. No I do not know German sadly, I'm just stationed here. I'm female and serve in the Army. I was raised up on Star Wars and of course my favorite will always be Obi Wan. Unless you want to know more lol then I suppose I guess that's all I need to say haha Can't wait to talk to some of y'all Oh and one funny fact about me. My anniversary is on Star Wars day by pure accident. Long story short, we got married by proxy. We got the email that told us congrats you now married. I asked my husband what date was it, in which he looked and said "May 4th." I blinked and looked at him and said...."are you serious? We got married on Star Wars day?" It took him half a second and I said.."May the forth be with you."
Welcome to the forums! And that is one awesome anecdote! I had to have my daughter christened on May 4th as it was the only date they had free. The pastor offered the date and I just looked at my wife and she rolled her eyes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Greetings! I'm really looking forward to more details on the Obiwan film. Please let me know if I can help you find anything around the boards.
Guten Tag und Wilkommen. That's as far as my Deutsch knowlegde can go, lol. Otherwise I have to ask dictionary for help, hehe.
From all the ya'lls you used, I'd say you were a Southerner. Texas? Wait no, Alabama! GA? Anywho, welcome!
Welcome! That's a cool day to get married on. That will be what day my wedding will be in the future. That way, I will have two things to celebrate. Can you guess the most important one?
What do you do in the Army, CCA03? I'm retired after 20 years in the Air Force. Never got stationed in Germany, but we stopped there for fuel pretty often when we were deploying to the desert.
Welcome aboard! Sad that you don't know German. Otherwise I'd have welcomed you in German, since I know that language well. Just don't forget to visit more than one place - here and in Germany. Enjoy your stay! You won't regret it.
