I live in Sanday (see www.sanday.co.uk).

On another note, I've been to Edinburgh twice now and it's really nice. :) I haven't been to Glasgow at all though...

Just a little - like the Moon, Edinburgh is beautiful to look at but somewhat lacking in Atmosphere.

    Glasgow is just too... english

And if you think embra is windy then you should come up to aberdeen [face_plain]

Plus. Embra has a much better HMV. Though Glasgow's Fopp is cooler

And Cass it was Habitat we was in that you got the lamp

I didn't mean english as in personality wise - I meant english in layout. Embra isn't like that and neither are dundee aberdeen or perth

Talking about HMV and so on, I went to Virgin Megastores in Edinburgh when on holiday there in August, and was told out, because "it was a school day, and I should have been at school". What did I do? Left and went to HMV...

    Oh dear
I've been to Shetland a few times, but I get the feeling that Orkney and Shetland residents have the same relationship as Edinburgh and Glasgow people - slightly suspicious of each other........

I know someone from Shetland...but he lives in London now.

He talks funny. But then again, I thought the Orcadians spoke like Geordies ;)
