Hello, I'm new here!

My name is Frankie, and I'm a BIG fan of classic Star Wars, meaning the Old Trilogy and the Expanded Universe books written by authors like Timothy Zahn. As far as finding my place in the universe, I better connect with the rogue smuggler Han Solo persona more than the moral jedi Luke Skywalker. Protecting the Galaxy with awesome force powers is nice and cliche, but there is something much more amusing about a life of racing, smuggling, exploring and gambling... in space. Star Wars holds a special place in my childhood (I'm only 18), and that's the element of diversity in the vast number of different species and planets in the Galaxy, to discover and learn about them.

I'm a real "geek" at heart, and this looks like a promising community. I would like to build a collection and have a portal for this diversion of mine (Theforce.net is a really nice website).

So I hope you'll have me, if not then too bad, I already unpacked.

When you are adopted is when you get an older user to help you out with any questions you have about the forums. Just go to the newbie adoption thread and say that you want to get adopted.

If you have any questions, your thread here would be a good place to start asking them. You'll find WNU far more friendly and forgiving than many other places on the board.
