Thanks! I am not a real Captain. This was a screen name that I originally chose for a Star Trek board, so I used the title Captain as a play off that. I basically fused Star Trek with another of my favorite things, the NY Giants!

Hello PearlSaber, I suppose I should say welcome to you as well! As to what interests me, I would go with the movie Saga as a whole, including the upcoming ones, and The Clone Wars TV show. I don't really read Star Wars books, so I'm not well versed in the EU. I stick mainly to the onscreen stuff
The one thing that is a bit overwhelming about this place is the shear size of it. There are threads that have literally thousands of responses.
Yep, some are really large! But remember, if it's a social thread, you don't need to read all those posts. If you read the last two or three pages plus the introduction/first post, you've done everything that's needed to join the talks in there properly. Just a little advice, if your edit time hasn't run up already, it's better to use the edit function than posting a new post. If doing it too many times, you might get a PM (conversation) learning that it's called spam.
Really, I wouldn't have thought that my post there would be considered spam. I will however make sure to keep that in mind and appreciate the heads up
Welcome! Since you like Star Trek, I recommend checking out Community: Amph. It's a non-Star Wars zone, but we have a discussion about the new movie going. It's a lot of pages, but just read the last couple and you'll be caught up
