    Captain Tom Coughlin: Failte Nua Duine. Welcome aboard. Not sure if your name is just your name and you happen to be a captain... if so, thanks for your service, or you are a Giants fan, or it's a The Given Day reference, 1 of several others I can think of... Anyhow, we are glad you are here. I'm axcited about Episode VII as well. I have quite a presence in that forum, so if you need me, I am rather conspicuous. Check out all of our many topics & boards, get involved, and if you run into any problems, this thread is your tech support area.

    Thanks! I am not a real Captain. This was a screen name that I originally chose for a Star Trek board, so I used the title Captain as a play off that. I basically fused Star Trek with another of my favorite things, the NY Giants!

    You are a ST fan as well? Cool! I enjoyed most of the movies, too, just never really watched the tv show. Btw, there should be a thread about it as well, but I'm not sure where it can be found. Maybe you are more lucky and find it. ;)

    Hello PearlSaber, I suppose I should say welcome to you as well!

    As to what interests me, I would go with the movie Saga as a whole, including the upcoming ones, and The Clone Wars TV show.

    I don't really read Star Wars books, so I'm not well versed in the EU. I stick mainly to the onscreen stuff

    The one thing that is a bit overwhelming about this place is the shear size of it. There are threads that have literally thousands of responses.

    Yep, some are really large! But remember, if it's a social thread, you don't need to read all those posts. If you read the last two or three pages plus the introduction/first post, you've done everything that's needed to join the talks in there properly. :)

    Just a little advice, if your edit time hasn't run up already, it's better to use the edit function than posting a new post. If doing it too many times, you might get a PM (conversation) learning that it's called spam.

    Welcome! Since you like Star Trek, I recommend checking out Community: Amph. It's a non-Star Wars zone, but we have a discussion about the new movie going. It's a lot of pages, but just read the last couple and you'll be caught up :)

    Don't worry too much, just keep it in mind. Sometimes it even makes sense to "double post", but I suggest to get the feel for the forum first, so you don't run into trouble. ;) :)

    SuperBowl? There is one active one. :)

    How I found them? Go to "Community" and then click on "Arena" on the top of that page (right under the name of that board). :)
