    Ahh, Raleigh, home to some of my favorite museums, how I miss it!

    This is Jedi Pinback, a Yankee abroad in Australia, hoping to connect with all the US Star Wars fans I can find; anybody out there?

    I live in good 'ol F-V, North Carolina...

    BrianMan, if you live where I'm guessing you meant by W-S (although the possibility that I'm wrong is great here, I'm just thinking of towns in my area) then you live very close to me...

    ... but I'm probably wrong. ;)

    F-V is about 30 minutes away (south-ish) from Raleigh...

    There doesn't seem to be much activity here... :(

    Wake Tech Community College? My mom takes French class there!

    F-V = Fuquay-Varina. I'm not sure if Wake Tech is in Fuquay or Cary??? But it IS quite close!

    I was thinking W-S = Willow Springs, but I guess Winston-Salem makes more sense... :)

    I haven't been back to Raleigh since I stopped driving my sister to work at RTP. (That was an hour and a half drive!)

    Both of us are NC State grads.

    Yes, fall and Spring are perfect here. But I like Spring better because in the Fall, the pine trees in my front yard shed like crazy. The grass gets buried under all the pine straw. And *I* have to rake it. :(

    Ah yes, the raking leaves is a problem - I usually get that job, except if we raked our entire yard it would take forever! :p

    So, where exactly do all of you live again (obviously somewhere near Raleigh)? I'm in Fuquay-Varina... a small town (though we are growing rapidly) to the south (about 20 minutes or so) of Raleigh...

    Not too much activity in here, huh? :p Well, I guess some is much better than none! :D

    I live in Cary. It's the snootiest area of the state. When the McDonald's no longer have the Golden Arches, you know you're in Cary. :D

    Hmmm... most of the people at my school share that opinion... :p :) And I must say - Cary is quite busy and crazy! ;) :p :)

    I go up there one day, and there is a huge group of trees in one spot... and the next tiem I go up there there is a shopping center! :eek: [face_laugh]
