Hi, I'm from St. Louis here on vacation. I'm staying in Denver with my family until Friday. I just thought I'd tell you all how beautiful your city and the mountains are. Also, we know very little about the area and would appreciate any suggestion fellow SW fans would have!

The Denver Zoo is pretty good as is the Museum of Nature & Science. If you prefer more nature oriented things you can always go up to Rocky Mountain National Park.

 

Red Rocks & Heritage Square in Golden are kinda fun, too.

 

I would suggest jumping over the WOTR rockies to see the X-wing, but she is in cali now. Sorry.
other than that i cant help ya. There is Dave&Busters, its a blast.I guess P-towners are not much help in denver tourism.

 

downtown is lots of fun.

 

Thanks for all of your suggestions! We went to the Red Rocks today and we were thinking about a museum. Your city is beautiful and I have enjoyed this vacation even more then I thought I would. Your FanForce seems to be great, in St. Louis we have very few members and are not very well organized.

Hi! welcome to Denver!
I very strongly suggest you go to Rocky Mountain National Park / Estes Park. The park is beautiful and Estes Park has some wonderful shops.

 

A drive through Clear Creek Canyon after the morning rush is nice, as is the fishing(highway 6 out of Golden), if yur into planes, there are glider & chopper rides out of Boulder(they're both in the book!), & Coal Creek Canyon(my neck of the woods; highway 72 going west from highway 93)has several places offering great horseback riding!

OOoooo, and don't ferget to check out the buffalo herd outside of Genessee on I-70!

Thanks again for your great sugestions! I went to the the science museum and saw the planetarium and Imax shows. I'm leaving in the morning, but this has been one of the best vacations EVER!! Bye.
