Ozhaggis from FanForce NSW (Australia) here.

I might be headed to your locale in mid-November this year, so I thought I'd add yet another invasion thread to your forum.

Apart from the usual "What can I do in LA?" request, what I really want to know is, what can a rabid scifi fan do for kicks in LA in mid-November ?

    cheers,

    Ozhaggis.

Disneyland is a lot of fun, and you could of course ride Star Tours! It's not in Los Angeles precisely, but it's within driving distance.

Well, the Farscape and Stargate SG-1 conventions will be in Burbank (not far from downtown L.A.) in November. Not too sci-fi, but still a busy fan base. Unfortunately you're missing WorldCon, which is our area next month.

Exactly like a house of pancakes very international with a variety of flavors that include strawberry, boysenberry, blueberry, and regular.

Please don't mention pancakes, I just read The Third Policeman. :)

Conventions sound good. Not a huge fan of either of those shows, but I've never been to a proper convention before either, so might be a lark.

And I guess everyone should go to Disneyland at least once in their life. And it's never too late to have a happy childhood.

Disneyland is the sort of thing you've got to do or else you get hassled by people.
Oh, and I'd recommend DCA, since non-californians seem to get a lot out of that
