HELP!!!! How does XBOX LIVE! work?

    Forgive me for my lack of knowledge... But heres my question....
    I do not have internet access at my house. Do I need to sign up with a service? Do I need a computer? Do I pay a monthly fee? What all does it require?

    Do I need to sign up with a service?

    Xbox Live requires that you have an existing broadband internet connection. This means cable modem or dsl for the most part. Satellite won't work.

    Do I need a computer?

    No computer is necessary.

    Do I pay a monthly fee?

    At this time Xbox Live is 49.95 for the starter kit which includes a year of service. Pricing past that point is yet to be announced.

    What all does it require?

    Xbox, Xbox Live starter kit, broadband internet connection, Xbox Live compatable game
