    Flights booked, accomodation in the pipeline and I went to get my passport today! And was told my marriage certificate was null and void!! WTH!?!?! Seems the Church no longer has the power to marry people legally, and the certificate the priest gives you is not a legal document. Seems the Govt is the only body allowed to say I am married now. ANd now I have to pay $33 for the pleasure of them giving me a new certificate!! CRAP!!! The Church was marrying people long before the bloody govt. was formed!! Sheeesh and Cripes and Crap!!! Am I annoyed? Understatement...

    On our wedding day the priest forgot my husbands name and his was a little dottering....so now I wonder, did he submit our forms? I asked hubby what if we weren't married? He said "we'll just have to get married again" and I said "You'd make the same mistake again?" :p

    our priest got our names mixed up, called me Erik and called Erika 'Derika'....atleast we saw the license and it was all filled out correctly. And we got it back so we're official.
