Toronto Help Needed re Movie Posters

Back just before the special editions came out in the the theaters I got from an aquaintance who was working each of the 4 special edition movie posters. Now does anyone know how I can find out if these were ones sent out to theaters, promotional ones (rarer then theater versions), the mass produced ones which people were going to be able to buy at a future date, test posters or something else without taking them out of storage and dragging them around?
