okay, I am terrible at coding and javascripting.

I am going to be making a big site soon, and I would like to know if a fellow SW fan can help me out. Not to make the site aand topics and banners, but how to get them on there. I know how to get banners up and stuff, but I wanna put some music on too, and maybe some other cool things.

Just PM me if you are interested. All help will be appriciated!

Can you include some details about your site? Perhaps it's hosting and the link?

Its a new order I am making up. Not anything like Sith or Jedi. Its going to be completely new, with saber folk, soldiers and other things like ships, and whatnot.

I don't have a name for the order, or force. I am still brainstorming some names.

Its kind of like an army actually, except with lightsabers, maybe mandalorians, maybe clones, and starfighters, and some other stuff....

Are you planning on installing some forums on your site? Such as phpBB, Invision Power Board, etc? I would suggest that over conforums/proboards and Invisionfree. It is more professional, in my opinion.

It's also a lot harder to manage. :(

If you don't know how to work computers very well, I say Proboards is the best choice.

    My 2 cents.

I am not going with conforums, too cheap. And I'm pretty sure you can't put music on it either.

I'll probably go with proboards or ezboards. EZboards is set up more like a website, which is cool...

    I am still thinking...

I suggest going with phpBB, or Simple Machines Forum, both free. I run a phpBB site, and have heard good things about the SMF. They are not too hard.

However! I would suggest not using ezboards. I have heard nasty things about these forums, pop-ups, ads, the like.

If you are going to use a free, hosted forum, I would suggest Invisionfree. They are a lot better, and more customizable than proboards, from what I have heard, and seen. :)

I think that would be best. However, I don't want you to go on just my judgement, and then hate it. Try and get a few more opinions. :)

I tried phpbb and it's not all technical and stuff. I just find it a more difficult forum to manage than Proboards/Invision Free.

There are plenty of other forums out there. If you want a style more like these (the JC/IGN), then you can try either Hailboards, which is run on a phpBB forum, or Discoboards, a more IGN like forum. ;)

Also, if you would like me to help, shoot me a PM. ;)
