FF:NZ Help Please! Someone with today's (Tue Nov 15) Christchurch Press

Any of you Cantab's, could you please let me know if the following Stevie Nicks/John Farnham ad appears in today's paper - probably section 1.

is that your work, perchance? That's an odd pairing. I'd quite like to see Stevie Nicks, but teaming her up with Farnsie seems extremely odd.

 

Yeah - well, aussie company built the original & I mucked around with the dates etc.

There were some problems close to deadline, and I'd love to know that it got printed OK.

You said she had a "random band". She hasn't. There are 3 fairly different acts on the one bill. Quite a different situation. It's not like they'll all be performing at the same time.

Anyway, the bill can be explained by "Classic Hits Radio" audience.

I wouldn't be surprised though if Farnsey makes a guest appearance for a duet or with Nicks during her set though (Leather & lace or Stop Draggin My Heart Around).

And HEY, SOMEONE IN CANTERBURY - HELP PLEASE! Is that ad in my first post in today's Press (probably section one)

I didn't think about it earlier, but I could have texted him or Graal... now that it's 9:30pm... prob not the best idea.

 

It's on page A10 (back page of the first section), right next to a Volvo ad and beneath an ad for a salon known as "Kinky Hair." All the details appear to be printed correctly.

What? Didn't you trust the paper to print it or was this a sly way of advertising your own work?

Doesn't get printed = doesn't get paid???

 

Long story, but the ad was sent 10 minutes after deadline the day before the paper was printed.

If they don't get the ad, the guy who hired me to make it loses the hundreds of dollars (plus) he paid for the spot.

Doesn't look good as it was my responsibilty to get the ad to the paper.
