    Hello,

    I am working on a project for Celebration Europe and I need some assistance. I need to know if there are Finnish translations for any of these character names:

    Princess Leia Organa
    Death Squad Commander
    Han Solo
    Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi
    Jawa
    Sand People / Tusken Raider
    Luke Skywalker

    Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi!

    Names aren't translated so Luke Skywalker and friends are Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and so on. :)

    Princess = Prinsessa
    Sand people = Hiekkakansa
    Tusken Raider is usually mis-translated to Tuskenin ratsastaja (=Tusken rider)
    Death Squad Commander is pretty hard to get any practical translation. I think best alternative could be Kuolemanpartion komentaja.

    Sand People could also be translated Hiekkaväki.

    But if you need to use for example plural forms of any of those words, you need to ask them here because they aren't that easy to modify. (An example: They were Jawas = He olivat Jawoja, but Jawas are small = Jawat ovat pieniä.)

    It is always a pleasure to introduce a foreigner to the wonders of Finnish language, so ask anything you need to know. :p

    Yeah, that is pretty often used translation too. It's hard to say which is most used one.
