It could be 186,000 miles/second, my answer was 300,000,000 meters/sec as most scientific calculations of distance are, and I don't know the conversion of meters to miles. I really wish we could all use the metric system, but Americans are already flunking school as it is, I couldn't imagine what would happen to change something.
